Finish Him Wii-Style in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon

MK Dragon

With Mortal Kombat Armageddon coming to the Wii, many people are now deep in thought, thinking up ways on how to perform their favourite fatality with the WiiMote.

Ed Boon, co-creator of Mortal Kombat, talks more about the Wii. He says that although he would love to create a new game based completely around the controller, he says that there simply isn’t enough time and that the game will be just the same as what we usually see – but with Wii-specific controls.

He also says they’re going as far as not upgrading the graphics significantly to spend more time on making the controller work. There will be over 60 characters in the game which should make for a lot of moves you can perform! At this time, there are no plans for WiiConnect24 or Nintendo WiFi Connection features. He says they are possibilities for a future Mortal Kombat game so keep your fingers crossed! Keep them crossed still for Mortal Kombat on the Virtual Console – something that Boon is hoping for as well.
