Five companies MS should grab ahead of EA

Team Xbox recently listed some game developers that they feel should be scooped into the arms of Microsoft to save their exclusives from disappearing.

From what, you might ask? Well from Electronic Arts, for one thing. Any EA title usually becomes multi-platform, and in a world where exclusivity can make or break a console, first party exclusives are definitely in.

Their list is simple but well thought out. Starting with RealTime Worlds, the creators of Crackdown, they move onto Gearbox Software, Crytek and Valve. Oh, and Epic Games tops the list for obvious reasons.

Personally, we wouldn’t mind seeing multiplatform titles. Resident Evil wouldn’t be the hit it was today without its exposure across different consoles. Even more importantly, options are always good for business, and as much as exclusivity entices people to choose one consoleover another, the chance to see a great game on the console of your choice is still a welcome sight.
