FolksSoul demo this June at PSN Japan

FolksSoul demo this June - Image 1If you’re into real time action adventure video games, then maybe FolksSoul would catch your interest. If you don’t recognize this game, let us inform you that this is the same title known as Monster Kingdoms: Unknown Realms during the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2007.

Anyway, the real news here is that Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) announced earlier today that a demo of FolksSoul will be available on PlayStation Network (PSN) this coming June. The exact date wasn’t mentioned but it shouldn’t be far from the title’s release date on June 21.

On a similar note, the theme song of FolksSoul will be performed by Japanese boy band Abingdon Boys School. A promotional video for the group will also available at the PlayStation Store beginning May 21. There is still no mention whether the game will ever make it to other markets, much less these online goodies.

FolksSoul features the story of Ellen and Keats. They have to bond together to battle monsters known as “Folks” and capture their weakened souls. It is being developed by Game Republic – the same dudes who gave us Genji: Days of the Blade.
