Weird, yeah? But with SingStar, Rock Band, and Guitar Hero being the successes that they are, this only feels like the natural next step.

The games are planned to have an “audition” type gameplay that allows gamers to sing as characters from Lloyd-Webber’s musicals. Sounds like it’s going to be like SingStar, only with Lloyd-Webber songs in its library.

Recently, analysts kept going on about music games declining in popularity. But Lloyd-Webber’s Really Useful Group, an umbrella company involved in movies, theater productions, and general media, says that there’s no better time to enter into the gaming business:
