GC: New Viva Pinata Screens

Microsoft Games revealed new screenshots and images of their fun-loving game Viva Pinata at the Games Convention. Love it or hate it, looks like the game is here to stay, and will even be turned into a television show soon to be shown on 4kids TV.

As we’ve mentioned in previous articles, the basic theme or objective of the game is to create and maintain a garden ecosystem where pinata animals are brought to life. Players start from scratch (so basically just dirt and grass) and from there you get to plant your own flowers and beautify your garden, with the aim of attracting other wild species of pi?s. However, it’s not just a gardening game where you live in your own world (or garden). The
Viva Pinata community also allows gamers to challenge each other over Xbox Live and create alliances.

The game is targeted for the younger market (hence the gardens, and the flowers, bright vibrant colors, bunnies…wait, scratch that last one; we meant pinatas, ugh) but is said to appeal (hopefully) to older gamers too.

The game won’t be released in Europe until next year, so in the meantime, why don’t you guys just enjoy these new screenshots:
