Geometry Wars heads to Nintendo, becomes Geometry Wars: Galaxies

IGN reports that Geometry Wars will be seeing Nintendo DS and Wii iterations in the near future and will be called Geometry Wars: Galaxies.

According to their report, the latest issue of “Nintendo Power” first revealed the new game to the public. Instead of being a straight-out port, the game will be expanded, having “extensive single-player and multiplayer modes. In addition, the Wii and DS versions will have unique features related to their gameplay nuances, such as touch screen control and motion-sensing.

As an added bonus to Nintendo owners, the original Retro Evolved title will be included in the package as well. Don’t that make the wait even sweeter?

Kuju Entertainment, the makers of Battalion Wars, will be taking care of development for the game. In the meantime, be patient. The game will be coming out in the fall, and we’ll get you more info as it comes.
