Get to know the many Personas of NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams
Fans of Sega‘s NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams couldn’t wait for its imminent December 28 release date (November 23 for Europe and Australia), but in-depth details about the gameplay is still scarce at the moment. However, Sega finally revealed one of the more important elements of the game, the Persona masks.
There will be three Persona masks to be found in-game, each granting the player unique abilities. The Dolphin mask will turn the player into a dolphin, and grants the ability to swim underwater. Then there’s the Rocket mask, which let players cruise at high speeds, and finally the Dragon mask, which grants the player immunity from wind or gravity. It will considerably slow the character down, but that’s just a fair trade-off.
Knowing when to use each masks will help the player out a lot, and will involve a bit of strategy and thinking.
