Sony PlayStation Portable - Image 1With the homebrew Get!T, coders Team Chilt present us with “a download app to download (and unzip) files.” It may sound simple but its previous build is already equipped with an On Screen Keyboard (OSK) interface. Today, Team Chilt updates Get!T to version 0.1.1 to add some more improvements.

Version 0.1.1 brings us fixes for a slower speed for the OSK and a bug in the download mode. Now, Team Chilt assures us that downloading will work properly.

With a vision to make Get!T a “FileZilla for the PSP,” the devs have given us a few things to look forward to with future releases. They are even welcoming input from you so head over the Visit link for your two cents. For the planned features, we have:

  • UnRAR files
  • Play Music files (mp3, ogg, wav, etc)
  • Battery warning before download when battery is low
  • Filebrowser with file management
  • Graphics
  • File Upload (Number 1 on To-Do list)

Instructions on how to use are available at the readme file which is included in the homebrew download. Make sure you check this before anything else. Safety first!
