[Glenn] The Copy Ninja meets his copy in Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm -with mabie comments

The Copy Ninja meets his match – his copy! Watch as Hatake Kakashi goes on a mirror match in Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm. Namco Bandai‘s booth at the TGS brings us this demo vid of the latest Naruto title.

As with the previous Naruto games, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm makes excellent use of cell-shaded graphics, which makes the game look and feel like the popular animé. It’s not the best fighting game when it comes to fighter balance and move variety, but even those who’ve never seen the show would enjoy playing.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm is now playable across 3D terrain, unlike its PS2 predecessor. This gives the game a big boost in both fighting strategies available and overall feel of the game. Players can now make like the TV series and run around grunting before actually engaging instead of simply going back and forth.

Check it out. The blue Kakashi really knows what he’s doing, wrapping up combos with a Chidori like he did. The brown one puts up a good fight (nice air combo), but the fight’s just too short (or is it just me?). Well, at least we all get to see Kakashi-sensei’s impressive moves. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm may be the best in the series yet.
