Sony has just revealed that they’ll be hitting European PlayStation Portables with Go!View’s big launch this summer. The new service will allow handheld users to download video and watch TV on demand.

The service was first announced and discussed in last year’s Games Convention over at Leipzig, Germany. It’s been put up in cooperation with satellite company Sky.

Sony and Sky have promised to bring gamers a wealth of video content via Go!View. With it, media can be enjoyed on the go without using UMD movies.

Pricing hasn’t been detailed yet, but payment can come in either pay-per-view or subscription forms. Registration can be done in the official Go!View site, which you can visit when you click on the source link below.
