Gran Turismo 5 packaging spotted in making-of video, contains three discs

In the latest making-of video from Polyphony Digital head honcho Kazunori Yamauchi tells us all about the inclusion of the Mercedes 2011 SLS AMG in Gran Turismo 5. A treat for hardcore car fanatics, but that’s not the only interesting part in the video. There’s also this certain box that Yamauchi is shown holding. One labeled Gran Turismo 5.

A treat for hardcore car fanatics, but that’s not the only interesting part in the video. There’s also this certain box that Yamauchi is shown holding. One labeled Gran Turismo 5.

The box itself is emblazoned with the typical markings for a Sony game box — the SCE stamp, the new PS3 logo, and the Gran Turismo 5 logo, of course. Curiously, the box contains three different Blu-ray cases — one black, one red, and one blue. This may not be the final packaging, but the contents of those three discs are indeed quite tantalizing. Perhaps this is for a CE?
