Guild Wars Emblem-Making Contest Winners Announced

The people behind Guild Wars offered their gamers an opportunity to flaunt their artistic talents by inviting them to design and submit their favorite concept for a new guild emblem. This art contest of sorts was announced during the months of March and April. Many distinctive art works were submitted from around the world, some of which were excellent. But like in any contest, there are those who win and those who lose.

The winners stood out because of their intricate artworks (pictures above) and these winning entries will now form the inspiration or the core concept from which the Art Team will work as they create the actual guild image.  As for the prizes, the winners will receive ’em goodies soon. One of the bonus prizes are the first two pins in the Guild Wars Season One Skill Pin series. All Honorable Mention recipients will receive the two skill pins, as well.

And just for added kicks, the Guild Wars people randomnly selected 25 lucky contest participants that will receive a skill pin. This is their way of saying thanks for their enthusiastic participation and effort.
