ArenaNet once again proves that it is the world leader in great online games with the recent success of their Guild Wars Factions. NPD’s weekly sales report for April 23, 2006 to April 30, 2006 reveal that the recently-released, ArenaNet-developed and NCsoft-published Guild Wars Factions is the number one PC game in North America and Europe.
Guild Wars Factions is the followup to last year’s Guild Wars and takes place in Cantha, an Asian-inspired continent. In this game, players create their character from eight distinct professions and join an epic quest that puts two factions – Luxons and Kurzicks – in a war against evil and against each other.
