ArenaNet‘s Guild Wars franchise has now exceeded three million copies sold, especially after the release of the hit game Guild Wars Nightfall. With this achievement, ArenaNet just announced some details about the Wintersday Festival and a couple of features to be implemented over the holiday season.

During the Wintersday Festival, players will find certain parts of the game decked with some decor as well as encounter some holiday-themed quests, snowball fights, and unique holiday awards. The event will take place from December 20 to January 1.

A new Party Search panel will be implemented as well as a Reconnect After Disconnect feature. The former would, as the name implies, allow players to form groups more easily, while the latter will allow someone to reconnect within ten minutes after a connection problem.
