Guilty Gear XX Accent Core gets North American launch date

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core launches February 2008 - Image 1Publisher 505 Games sent out word that Nintendo Wii owners can finally get their hands on Guilty Gear XX Accent Core as the title launches in North America this coming February 2008. It is being developed by Arc System Works and is actually the third installment of the successful franchise.

Accent Core features a major graphical overhaul to make it more enticing to video gamers. Aside from that, the title also sports gameplay changes with the inclusion of never-before-seen moves such as Force Break, Slashback, and Slip Throws.

The number of characters has been upped to 20 not to mention the alternate EX version for each. Of course, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core has also been made compatible with the Wii’s motion-sensing controllers.

Arc System Works mentioned that the normal and rather weak character moves are mapped in the Wiimote button while the stronger ones can be pulled off using the combination of the two. While waiting for the actual launch and other updates, just enjoy the screenshots below!
