GH3 replacement - Image 1

A good percentage of Nintendo Wii owners who got themselves a copy of Neversoft and Activision‘s Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock have complained that the game had an audio issue that results in poor, mono sound quality. Fortunately, the makers of the popular music and rhythm game heard the distress call and they’re doing something about it.

Pre-paid envelopes have been sent out to disappointed customers so their copies of GH3 could be sent back to Activision for replacement. The whole process should last about three to four weeks according to the official statement as reflected in the scan above.

We know it’s hard to even think of not being able to swing your axes for about a month, but it sure beats a lifetime of bad audio. Think of it as a test of patience. Did that help? No? We thought so.
