Gunfor v1.1

Gunfor v1.1 - Image 1

PSP homebrew developer LatentDev has just released an update on his game called Gunfor. What is it? Well, do you remember that game called Special Training ’99 or the homebrew game Escape? It’s basically the same idea. You’re piloting a ship and there are a gazillion fireballs coming right at you and you have to stay alive.

This release, version 1.1, has analog stick support (for better control) and a feature to take screenshots by pressing the Select button. Installation is pretty simple: just drop the two folders (gunfor and gunfor%) into your Game150 folder.

It’s actually pretty addicting as it is but LatentDev, also known as Ace High, is planning a number of changes in the next release:

  • Implement different difficulties
  • Ranking
  • MP3 support

The dev indicated that suggestions, bug reports, and comments will be more than welcome, especially on the aspects of controls, game difficulty, and additional content. As always, check out the readme file before anything else and if you have any questions, feel free to visit the forum link below. Enjoy!
