Harmonix: Don’t worry, 20 free Rock Band 2 DLCs are still coming

Harmonix has some official words to say regarding the supposed 20 free downloadable tracks from Rock Band 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2). It’s been a long time coming and people are starting to wonder if it’ll ever show up. Not to worry, they are still rolling out. Read up on Harmonix’s reassurances after the jump.

Wondering why you’re still not playing the 20 free downloadable tracks from Rock Band 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2)? You’re not alone. A lot of people are also waiting for the green light from Harmonix, but it’s apparently taking a while to happen. Some even still don’t have their codes for the download yet.

But not to worry, Harmonix does reassure gamers that they are still coming. In fact more codes will be sent out tonight. Says Sean Baptiste, “The codes for the 20 free DLC on 360 will begin to go out this evening for redemption.” He further explains, “Due to the volume of emails being sent, these will roll out over a 24 hour period.”

As for the PS3 version, he says it will be dropping some time “later in the week”. No specifics on that one, though, but at least be comforted that they did not pull the plug on this one after all.
