Highlander screenshots: dueling in Rome, jumping on helicopters

New screens have arrived for Highlander: The Video Game. We can only guess that these screens mark the places and events in history that will be playable in the game. Check out the shots in the full article.

In Highlander: The Video Game, you’ll be playing the immortal Owen McLeod. If you live the life of an immortal, you’re bound to do crazy stuff. But if the only thing that can kill you is having your head cut off, perhaps jumping on helicopters isn’t the best way to get your kicks.

Here are three screenshots for Highlander: The Video Game (360, PS3, PC), featuring Owen McLeod as he does battle in the past and in the present. In the game, you’ll be battling against other immortals in these eras and locales.

We’re not sure whether these are screenshots from actual gameplay or whether they’re just concept material. At any rate, the shots are looking great and we’d play the game either way. No release date was given yet, but we’ll keep you updated.
