Horizons: Tier 6, Loot Revamp and Elder Play

It has been quite a while since we have dished out an update about the MMORPG Horizons. Well now, were giving you three updates on some Horizons development– Tier 6, Loot Revamp and Elder Play.

Let’s start off with Elder Play. The people behind Empire have reported that their forums have been abuzz with regards to the topic of communication between Tulga, the Players and the direction of the game – the Elder Game in particular. Unfortunately, there are areas where the design and development team are hesitant to release too much information too soon.

Recently, they have been monitoring those topics that appear to be paramount to our Elder Players and hope that they can enlighten you as to the direction we are heading – without giving too much away. So in other words, you gotta understand that for them to bring out the very best gaming experience possible, you’d have to be in the dark about some things.

The there’s some info on the upcoming loot revamp. The people behind Horizons would just want you to know that all technique resources will be re-evaluated, and some may be transferred from one technique to another to balance their utilization. For now, they are not divulging on how this would be done. The loot revamp will also entail that all technique resources are sufficiently available, some will be more difficult to obtain than the others, but that’s just part of the game.

With regards to Tier 6, resources in here will be harder and are better defended than Tiers 1-5.  The ultimate goal is to add unguarded areas of resources where the rate of availability is lower than the much larger, guarded, greater available resource areas. The Tier 6 construction is not yet complete, this is just to ensure that all Tier 6 resources are approximately equal in terms of difficulty of acquisition – which will greatly contribute to the completion of said Tier.

The team promises that a complete Tier 6 is something that everyone will love and be amazed at. It should be considered the pinnacle of construction in the sense that the extra effort required to create it exceeds the extra benefit provided to the construction of other Tiers.
