How RTS Should Be Played

Touchscreens and Starcraft has been in existence for a very long time. Yet how come this is the only time we’ve seen someone apply the touchscreen technology to an RTS game? It seems so brilliant; how come no one ever thought of it?

We’ve read some statements saying that this is a hoax. However, we’ve also read some reactions defending this clip. Some people say that this isn’t the game’s replay, and to take special notice of the mouse pointer. It seems to be going to the location where the finger touches the screen. Someone also mentioned something about an old article regarding World of Warcraft, allegedly using the same technology. However, the difference was with the equipment used–the equipment at the Mitsubishi Electric Labs was obviously a bit more expensive than the ordinary PC and touchscreen seen here.

Let’s hope that there will be more games using this technology. Let’s just make sure that our hands are clean before we play.
