How to create Bloodmoon – and get rid of it?

Lunar Crescent, Moon Cleaver and Bloodmoon - Image 1Bloodmoon is an epic two-handed axe that made a debut in The Burning Crusade. It’s pretty handy, especially considering that it increases both critical and attack power.

How do you get it? Well, first off you need to be a blacksmith and a Master Axesmith at that. It’s an upgradable weapon and has three levels. First you need to make a Lunar Crescent (Eternium Bars, 12 Primal Air, 12 Primal Earth, and 4 Primal Might), then you need 12 Primal Nether and 10 Primal Mana to upgrade it to a Mooncleaver. Lastly, to get uber coolness, you’ll need 20 Nether Vortex to upgrade it to Bloodmoon. A lot of labor required for something that you can’t tank with.

Though this would be extremely effective if you are a fury warrior since it gives 123.6 dps, it improves crit by 50 and attack power by 106. If you get tired of it, you can sell it to a vendor for 17g 4s 35c. That is if you can let it go. It can be disenchanted but we don’t know how since it’s bind on pick up for blacksmiths.
