We are now about to cross the border of rumours and move into those which have very little factual basis. It may seem, if sources are correct, that the Xbox 360 will skip a $100 price drop and instead, include the forthcoming external HD-DVD player.
A reader of Gizmodo has said his/her insider sources were made aware of this, however with like most early rumours, dont take this at full face value. Depending on the release of the HD-DVD unit compared to that of the Blu-Ray enabled PS3, this is almost certainly a diversion tactic by Microsoft.
