The call for submission of entries for this year’s Into The Pixel art exhibition has been announced. Into the Pixel is considered the only juried art exhibition that “brings together the elite from the fine art world and the interactive entertainment industry to explore video game artwork from both a digital and traditional art perspective.”

The exhibition will offer an opportunity for published video and computer game artists to be reviewed and recognized by the public and their peers in both the art and gaming worlds. Sixteen pieces of video game art will be featured in the exhibit after being hand-picked by a panel of esteemed jurors from submissions by artists throughout the global video game art community.

Deadline for submission of entries is on May 4, so give those creative muscles a workout. The framed artwork will be unveiled at the E3 Media & Business Summit in Santa Monica, California on July 11 to 13. The exhibit will also be open to the public at  the E for All expo on October 18 to 21 in Los Angeles.
