Kicking Off: FIFA 07 Pics for the DS

Nope, that's not a Quidditch field!

FIFA 07 is to be released in less than a month from now by Electronic Arts. And we haven’t revealed any DS screenshots yet (you can check out the PSP version here, which includes some screens and a video). Anyhoo:

With the DS, FIFA 07 will introduce the EA Sports Interactive League which will allow players to kick-off against each other online, while running a real-world schedule. Getting to play in these virtual matches will tip the scales, which will reflect on overall team scores.

Also, with the DS’s microphone, players can customize their very own team chants! The PSP version doesn’t have this feature, though. So, if you really want to get into the game to the point of being your own audience member rooting for your team, then maybe this would help you decide which version, DS or PSP, of the game to get (that’s considering you have both DS and PSP consoles).
