Konami releases first screenshots of Silent Hill 5 for E3

Prepare for a whole new batch of nightmares as Silent Hill 5 (also coming to Xbox 360) delivers on the creepiness factor.

Konami has only released two screenshots for E3 but it’s already good enough to give you claustrophobia. One screen shows what seems to be a classic chair modified for torture in a metal chamber. The next screen shows what seems to be an abandoned hospital, suffering from neglect and depression. Familiar?

  

The latest installment will revolve around the story of Alex Shepherd, who searches for his father and brother upon finding them missing when he comes home from the war. Hopefully the game will be out by next year. The game is slated for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and is being developed by group The Collective.
