Legend of Zelda Alpha 1: a new game for Zelda fans

Over on the QJ.Net forums, dan369 has released a new homebrew project, called Legend of Zelda alpha 1. As you can probably guess, it’s a work-in-progress game featuring Link and Zelda, and runs on its own engine based on Zion‘s Zelda game. More on this after the jump!

Over on the QJ.Net forums, dan369 has released a new homebrew project, called Legend of Zelda alpha 1. It’s a new Zelda game that has an engine based on Zion‘s Zelda game.

Here are the developer’s mentioned features for this work in progress:

• Menu (with animations)
• Game engine coded by me
• Link (DUHH)
• Collisions (good ones i might add)

Do note that the game only has one level at the moment, though dan369 expects to include more soon. Furthermore, note that the application doesn’t actually have a readme, so you should take caution when installing this game.
