Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess cavern gameplay video

With the release date of Nintendo’s next-gen console looming just over the horizon, fans can’t make up their minds if they’re more excited over the console itself, or the next member of the Zelda anthology which will be released at the same time.

While all of us take some time to contemplate the matter, though, here’s a new gameplay video from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess which features our hero, Link, as he goes cave-crawling. Bats, ghouls, weird plants, and general baddies along the way are already a given. What I do find amusing though is the fact that he still carries things above his head, and crystals still appear likewise, just as it was back in A Link to the Past. Just a random thought, really.

In any case, one thing to note about the video would be Link’s combat moves. They seem a little choppy, though we don’t really know if it’s because the controls are hard to learn or if it’s because the player isn’t particularly good at handling the Wiimote. I guess we’ll all just find out for ourselves once the game from Nintendo comes out in just more than a week’s time.
