Meet The Warriors: trailer 2

Ever wonder how life was a street thug in the ’70s? Rockstar Games will take us on another trip to gangland with this new PSP port of The Warriors. We can look past the funky hair and the tacky vests when we remember that this was based on a 1979 movie of the same name.

Anyway, you saw the official trailer just a couple of days ago. Now this new video features just how much violence it takes to make it on the virtual streets. Also, here’s some helpful info to get to know the Warriors:

  • Cleon – The leader of the Warriors and master of retro Bruce Lee kung fu moves. His fave move is a jump attack to an enemy’s neck and dealing a neck break.
  • Swan – Second in command of the Warriors. He uses a boxing type of brawling with one heck of a power attack.
  • Snow – He uses his tall frame to deal attacks that crack heads and tai chi elbow attacks.
  • Ajax – Heavy street brawler. You don’t want to be at the business end of his fists when he deals a triple punch to the face, likewise when he does a triple stomp.
  • Cochise – A soldier in Hell’s Kitchen, he uses a back breaker and a judo smack to the face as a finishing move.
  • Rembrandt – The rookie of the crew, he’s not a strong fighter. But who says you have to fight fair? He unleashes a kick to the groin and spray paint to the face of his enemies.
