Metroid Prime 3 Clip Fresh Off the Wii Event

Fresh from the Wii event in Japan is this clip of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. From the looks of it, it seems as if Retro Studios did make up for this game not having a multiplayer function, as the single-player perspective does deliver that exciting view.

Just don’t mind all that buzzing and talking that you’d hear in the background. Apparently, when we said it came from the Wii event, it really came from the conference itself, demo players and all. It can get pretty confusing, but just imagine yourself playing the game and trying hard to keep it in the zone while battling some winged prehistoric predator down some warped vortex.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is the tenth game release in the Metroid series, and the fifth title in the Metroid Prime sub-series, taking place after the events of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It was originally due for release in the fourth quarter of 2006 as a a Wii launch title, but due to some delays, it has now been pushed to 2007.

Too bad…but, oh well. You get to enjoy this clip in the meantime.
