MGS 4: Guns of the Patriots scans from UK PlayStation mag

The official UK Playstation Magazine CPM has released several new images of Konami‘s much-awaited Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The various pictures provide a glimpse into the kinds of allies, enemies, weapons, and experiences that Solid Snake will encounter over the course of the game.

While the various weapons appeared to be variations of equipment that Snake used in the original Metal Gear Solid (with the exception of the sleep gas mine and the stun knife), what really caught our attention were the familiar faces who haven’t been seen since Metal Gear Solid.

These include Colonel Roy Campbell, Meryl Silverburgh and Dr. Naomi Hunter. The images of the sinister new boss characters and Metal Gear Gekko have left us salivating for more, too.

From the looks of things, it seems that Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is shaping up to be a hit for MGS fans old and new. We only have one other question as of now: where’s Mei Ling?
