Monster 4X4: World Circuit gameplay details

Monster 4x4: World CircuitWith the Wii’s launch date just around the corner, more details have been revealed regarding the gameplay of Ubisoft‘s launch title Monster 4×4: World Circuit.

Monster 4×4: World Circuit (which will also see a Ps2 and Xbox release) for the Wii places a whole lot of emphasis on motion-sensing truck control, with Ubisoft even releasing a special Wiimote attachment called the Wiil which will come bundled with the game. Ubisoft will also be selling the Wiil separately, however, since it can also be used with other racing games for the Wii.

Anyway, on to the details. Monster 4X4: World Circuit will have three types of controls and over 40 circuits all over the world including Moscow, Egypt, Barcelona, and San Francisco. Players can set traps for their opponents as well as take shortcuts and go through secret passages in order to cross the finish line first.

Players will also have the chance to customize their rides – which they can choose from a large variety of vehicles like 4x4s and pick-ups – according to their tastes, whether their emphasis is on speed, jumping, capacity for destruction, or a healthy mix of the three. Monster 4X4: World Circuit also offers multiplayer support for up to four players in races or in mini-games like monster Soccer, Monster Battle, and Monster Ball.

Monster 4X4: World Circuit will hit US shelves on November 19. Gamers over in Europe will get their hands on this game on December 8.
