Ah, Code Lyoko. Most “hardcore” gamers usually tend to shy away from games based on movie or TV properties, but hey, experimentation’s not such a bad thing. Especially when you’re in college, if you know what we mean. Anyway, if the gameplay videos weren’t enough for you guys, here are 14 more screenshots from the Nintendo DS version of Code Lyoko. Based on the French 3D action/adventure TV series, Code Lyoko is an adventure game/RPG that features a group of students who uncover a parallel universe called Lyoko. Parallel universes are always cool, but the problem is that this one’s inside a super-computer that is threatened by a virus that could destroy the universe. It’s up to Jeremy, Odd, Ulrich and Yumi to help a virtual humanoid creature named Aelita to stop rogue computer XANA’s latest attack on their real world.
Code Lyoko from Game Factory is slated for a May release in the U.S.
