We may not know yet what the final title is for the Motorstorm sequel but at least we have confirmation today that Evolution StudiosMotorstorm 2 will be incorporating the much-awaited online community-based service PlayStation Home. Motorstorm 2 game director Nigel Kershaw spilled the beans in an interview with the free digital video game magazine D+Pad. Read it straight from Kershaw:

Home is a really exciting area for all PlayStation 3 developers; itÂ’s going to have a huge impact upon the gaming public when it comes out. I think itÂ’s going to really start binding the PS3 online community together. IÂ’m really looking forward to watching it progress, and MotorStorm will be a strong presence from the off.

This is good news if you’ve lost hope about the delayed PlayStation Home. As of now, the online community-based service PlayStation Home is still in an extended Closed Beta.

More on Motorstorm 2, Kershaw shared that the game will double its map count to sixteen while retaining the pat seven vehicles. You should also expect new road surfaces now that Motorstorm 2 is designed in an island environment instead of a desert.
