Namco Bandai got hold of some Home real estate in Japan, and now they’re putting up lounges for three of their most successful franchises – Tekken, Soul Calibur, and Ridge Racer, going retro-theme with its classic arcade games like Pacman and DigDug plastered all over the place.. Nippon Ichi also gets in on the Home action with a Prinny-clad lounge themed with the purple demon penguin, and you can purchase your own little Prinny items for your Home.

Sony’s also getting in on the act and will be selling Christmas stuff, where you can get your own Home Christmas tree, and other holiday stuff. Lounges are free, but naturally, it’ll cost you if you want stuff from them. Pricing is between Â¥ 50- Â¥ 200, which would be no more than US$ 2.00.

The lounges are going up today in Japan, while the rest of us can wait for the Home upgrade to finish so that we can get back into the scene.
