Namco Bandai to publish Tales of the Abyss anime for North America

It’s been a week full of financial projections from various publishers, but for Namco Bandai, they opted to make use of existing IP over new ones. This isn’t about a game, though. The publisher will be bringing the Tales of the Abyss anime to North America.

Tales of the Abyss was a 26-episode anime that ran from 2008 to 2009, which remained to be a Japan-only production until now. Digging deep into its pocket of non-Western releases, Namco Bandai has finally decided to bring the anime to North America at a yet to be specified date.

 

The Tales of the Abyss game was released October 2006 for the PS2, so fans of the game may be interested in the anime when Namco Bandai sends out the date.
