Chocobo‘s Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Forgotten Time will feature Chocobo and Cid as they enter the City of Forgotten Time. There, the two heroes will try to bring back the memories of the city’s inhabitants using The Labyrinth of Memories created by a kid named Raphael.

The game will have two types of randomly-generated dungeons. The first type is one in which players must explore the Labyrinth of Memories to retrieve memories. The second is a traditional dungeon with a boss fight waiting at the end. The game will also have a job system with around ten different job classes.

Finally, the game will be controlled solely using the Wiimote. The Nunchuk controller won’t be used, so players can play the game one-handed. The Wiimote can also be used in either a horizontal or vertical position.

Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Forgotten Time is slated for a Winter release in Japan. A stateside release has yet to be revealed.
