We’ve got some new scans fresh off Famitsu and Shonen Jump for Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Sealed Grimoire. The images show the game’s different races to give us an idea of how they look this time around.

The Humans, Moogle, Viera, Bangaa and Seeq are all back for more action. As it was in the first FFTA, each race carries distinctive characteristics and attributes that make them well-suited for particular jobs and skills. This is important if you want to make sure that you’re fighting at maximum efficiency all the time.

Square Enix is still in the process of making tweaks to the actual gameplay but it’s already been indicated that character scales will be an important part of the games. Unlike previous FFT games that had characters fitting into one tile no matter how big or small they are, bigger characters now will occupy more space in the field. We’ll keep you posted for more juicy updates on this quirky prospect.
