In this iteration, you will be playing as a young farmboy working under directives from a goddess to save Sugar Village, which was to be turned into a resort in two years’ time. To succeed in averting such disaster, 16 different story paths are laid out before you to choose from.

Good ol’ Harvest Moon farming features are retained for this title, from farming to animal raising, as well as home construction and socialization. And the fun doesn’t have to stop when the game ends; you can still primp your farm as much as you want.

For additional RnR, the game’s got several minigames as well, like horse racing, tree chopping, digging and fishing games. It’s a whole lot of activities to choose from, so for sure you won’t find and idle time in the farm.

You can check out the Famitsu scans above in the meantime. Harvest Moon: Sugar Village and Everyone’s Wish won’t be coming out till the 19th of March in 2009.
