New Syphon Filter and SOCOM demos available soon

Here’s some good news for all the PSP owners out there. According to IGN, new demos, including ones for Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 will be made available for download through the official PSP site or the PlayStation website in the coming weeks. More demos from both first-party and third-party developers are also in the offing, so watch out for those.

The Killzone: Liberation demo is there now so if you’re looking for something to try you might want to consider getting that one. You can also download firmware 3.10, which is also available now, but if you’re a homebrew fan we don’t know why you’d want to do that. Just so you know, though, the latest firmware update from Sony contains a new Dynamic Normalizer feature which automatically adjusts sound settings.
