A few days ago, we presented an article aimed at potential MMO gamers who nonetheless have yet to take the plunge. Well, if you’re still undecided, Sigil Games and Sony Online Entertainment would like the opportunity to present their case for Vanguard: Saga of Heroes and why you should consider it. Toward that end, they have just activated a promotional website with the purpose of attracting new community members that they’re hoping will eventually become players when the game is finally released.

Currently, VSoH is in phase three of their beta testing, which began last summer. There are a three more phases to go. Official release of the game is tentatively planned for some time this winter (or summer, if you’re living in the Southern Hemisphere). However, Sigil Games makes no firm promises about this.

This website is exceptionally easy to use – the menu is neatly arranged across the top, and almost everything shows up in the middle of the screen, so you never have to load another page (except for the “News,” which just links to the main site). When you look at this site and see everything this game potentially has to offer in terms of action, animation and graphics – all of which promises to be spectacular – you start to appreciate why Sigil is moving slowly and cautiously before officially releasing the game.

In a game with such elements at this level of complexity, the number of “bugs” and SNAFUs can increase exponentially.

In any event, make sure you visit this site if you want a quick, easy, yet thorough look at everything this game will have to offer.
