Dragon Sword of Ryu Hayabusa - Image 1It’s been a tough day for Ninja Gaiden 2 fans. After the bitter departure of Team Ninja‘s point man Tomonobu Itagaki, Major Nelson has confirmed that the demo for the game won’t be dropping in the immediate future. Ninja Gaiden 2 - Image 1It’s never fun to be the bearers of bad news, but some people have to do it. Major Nelson has recently posted that the Ninja Gaiden 2 demo will not be available in Germany, India, Canada, and the US at 2:00 PT as was originally announced.

He didn’t specify when exactly the trial run for Ryu Hayabusa‘s latest adventure will drop over at Xbox Live, but he did hint that it might by the end of the week. Oh well, we suppose a little more waiting shouldn’t hurt that much for mist people.

Speaking of Ryu Hayabusa, could it be that we’ve seen the last of the slick Dragon clansman as we know him? One has to wonder how the franchise will adapt after the bitter departure of Team Ninja mastermind Tomonobu Itagaki. We’ll keep you posted.
