Nintendo DS opens its doors to Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of The Mummy

Sherlock Holmes - Image 1There’s a new detective coming over to the Nintendo DS, and this one’s highly coveted for his amazing sleuth work. Yup, the famous Sherlock Holmes is back, and he is all set to solve those puzzling mysteries covering your DS handheld.

Originally a PC release in 2002, it eventually moved on to bigger planes in the form of the Xbox and PS2. But apparently, Frogware Studios isn’t done letting Sherlock do his rounds in the gaming community. Frogware has revealed that they intend to add Sherlocke Holmes: Mystery of The Mummy to collection of Nintendo DS games later this year.

The story is inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s writings, so you can very well expect the game’s storyline to be attuned to real Sherlocke Holmes style. There are also five different levels of gameplay here so there’s sure to be a lot snooping around for you to do.
