Nintendo reveals more Wii Chess details
Last August, we reported that Nintendo would be bringing the classic strategy game of chess to the Nintendo Wii. Dubbed Wii Chess, Nintendo has some more details for you avid European electronic chessmasters out there.

Last August, we reported that Nintendo would be bringing the classic strategy game of chess to the Nintendo Wii. Dubbed Wii Chess, Nintendo has some more details for you avid European electronic chessmasters out there.
For starters, Nintendo’s Wii Chess for Wii will offer the following features: local multiplayer, online play options and several game modes. Nintendo has set the price for the European version of Wii Chess at around US$29.99.
Wii Chess has been scheduled for commercial release in Europe on January 18, 2008. The US version of Wii Chess, on the other hand, is expected to ship sometime during the first quarter of 2008. To date, Nintendo has not yet released any details of the US version of the game. Stay tuned for more updates as we get them, though.
