This side-scrolling space shooter only came out in Japan for the TurboGrafx 16 and later reincarnated for the PSOne‘s Namco Museum Volume 4. You’ll be controlling Dr. Tomari as he tries to rescue his kidnapped fiancee, Kana, from the evil clutches of Kubota. The unique thing about this side-scroller is that it incorporates a bit of an RPG elements of it.
