Official Japanese PS3 Launch Titles As Of 20 September 2006

The ever-reliable Famitsu people have once again managed to get a hold of some juicy news practically ahead of everyone else. This time, it’s regarding the PlayStation 3’s Japanese launch with the list of what titles you could well expect to come your way. And it’s not just any list. It’s the official list.

Included in the list are the following:

• Mahjong Fight Club (Konami)
• Genji 2 (tentative name, SCEJ)
• Gundam: Target in Sight (Bandai Namco)
• Ridge Racer 7 (Bandai Namco)
• Sega Golf Club (Sega)

Famitsu also made mention of Koei’s Mahjong Taikai as having a November release, though without a specific date as of yet. Of course, we don’t expect this to be the final official list as there’s still some room for more titles, especially with about more than a  month to go before the Japanese launch date for the PS3.
