OT: Fan-made QJ RPG – Demo

Serideth, one of our moderators on the forums, has compiled and released a demo version of his upcoming “QJ RPG” for the PC. As you can tell from the title, it is an RPG formed, and based on the QJ Forum community. It is made with the aid of a RPG Maker and Ruby for the time being. The game is intended for our dedicated forum members who know a thing or two about the small “family” that has formed. This game will run on your PC after installing the game engine/player and then can be executed through the QJ.exe file.

Now, on to the heart of the article, the game. The game itself is played out like a regular RPG with the main character of Serideth. Serideth is a moderator who openly demonstrates his love for himself (don’t take that the wrong way) and makes several references to himself within the game. Now, being on the forums everyday, I myself have been able to relate to every comment made in the game. There are several “inside” jokes used, and even more references to Serideth’s..umm..beauty I guess you could say. Here’s a small plot summary provided by Serideth –

The world of QJ is run by Lord Ipaq and his mighty team of Ninja Turtles Brave Heros. But an evil member of the forum plots to destroy the innocent n00bie race (iball suits this perfectly ) a group of loyal members must defend the forum at all costs, led by the handsom hunk Serideth, will they win, or will the evil devs make a homebrew so evil that it will twarp the innocent noobs into a barberic race of cannabalism and spam….
