Outlands rivers flow into space, fish swim upstream

The Outlands - Image 1This may seem trite and should be reserved to the geekish fascinations of ecology inclined nerds, but when you start thinking about it, you do end up scratching your head in curiosity.

Davram, a member of the World of Warcraft Forums, posts in said forums that he’s noticed that in Nagrand, there are no major predators in the entire zone. Gasp! The evil! He further notes that every mob is a a large grazing herbivore or some other easily irritable herbivore. (If you think hoofed herbivores are pansies, go dance the macarena in front of a rhino.)

He says that the only active predator in the area seems to be Rocs, and he says that they’re nowhere near the population required to keep the population in check.

Other forum folks have noted even bigger problems: the Badlands have no prey and the rivers in the Outlands flow into space killing millions of fish.

Blizzard, for the love of David Attenborough and all that is deemed holy by the World Tree, don’t let the ecology of the World of Warcraft turn into a loot drop paradox!
