Let’s not beat around the bush; we know a lot of you guys are hungry for StarCraft II info. Details have been sparse, but we’ve got a good bit from PC Gamer. Some have already been revealed, but assurance that we’re waiting for a great game doesn’t hurt.

Here’s a rundown:

  • Hero units will not be as important or require as much management as they did in Warcraft III, which could mean there’ll be heroes.
  • Unit cap will still be at 200. Unlimited number of units can be selected at the same time.
  • ‘Gosu’ StarCraft and Warcraft III players from Korea are giving their input for balance and design.
  • Ideal matches will still take less than 20 minutes.
  • No minimum system requirements yet, bit a Shader Model 2.0-compatible graphics card will be required. Given Blizzard games, we can expect SCII to run on low-end PCs.

Not much news, you say? Well, Blizzard loves to keep their games in the dark. As of now, we only know about some new Protoss units and how battles will be epic. Keep in mind though, that the game is still in development so these are subject to change.

We at QJ would offer our souls to the Overmind just to get more on StarCraft II. When we do, we’ll keep you posted.
