Pieces of Eight announced for PC

For those who love games which involve trails of clues and treasure hunts, then we’re glad to announce that you’ll be having something to look forward to by the second quarter of this year. This is because independent games developer Hidden Sanctum has just announced their latest project, Pieces of Eight, which is bound for the PC.

In the footsteps of their earlier title Raven’s Hollow, Pieces of Eight is a first-person, point-and-click adventure which is set in modern New England. As the story goes, the player begins the game when he receives a mysterious package which bears clues. This ultimately leads the player to an island off the coast of New Hampshire, and on the trail of lost treasure which once belonged to a fleet of pirates who vanished in 1722.

If you found that intriguing, then make sure to watch the trailer for this new game which we’ve included. In the meantime, brush off that magnifying glass, grab a pipe, and tell Watson to clear out his schedule.
